Edie: My abilities have been sneaking out lately and I’m amazed but never surprised...

 Robert: that’s exactly right.

Edie: It feels like something I was born to do. I don’t have the skill level that you do, but I have been able to connect with people in my life who have passed; not yet people I don’t know.

Robert: What makes a medium a quality medium are two things. A gifted medium can open upon request. When someone makes an appointment to see me, I will sit down an hour before, I will say my prayers and ask for Spirit to be with me for the benefit of that family and that person. I’ll ask humbly that Spirit enter. Fortunately, most of the time Spirit will enter. Every time it happens, I am always in awe that it happens again. I never find myself taking it for granted, even though I have done it for years, in thousands of readings. I am always amazed how wonderful and beautiful the process it. And yet, I’ll meet people who have had extraordinary experiences and say, “That was nice.” and they’ll just dismiss it. It’s not for everyone. Something within their psychic energy is not ready for that opening.

I have a lot of parents who come see me who have lost children and that is probably the most beautiful and challenging and painful type of reading that you can do. One part of being a gifted medium is being able to open to those parents, and the other part is being able to acknowledge and interpret the energy for that family as clearly and as accurately as you can. You may receive information as well as I do, but what separates you and me is your ability to recognize the information and interpret it properly.

In the workshop you can be guided more clearly on how to read that information much sooner and much better.

People ask me when my next performance is and I tell them “I don’t perform.” and they ask me when my next appearance is and I say “I don’t appear.” I just come as Robert and keep it very simple and soft. When someone asks me to do the work, I am always humbled by it, because I am only the doorway. It’s Spirit talking. There’s this wonderfully, beautiful experience that lays in front of them and it’s all within your reach. You just have to get your mind out of the way.

Edie: The word “offering” comes to mind.

Robert: That’s right. It is an offering. Most people think that the sixth sense is the highest. The seventh sense is the highest one, and that is you or myself having an absolute, vividly clear understanding that your are the child of the Divine, and that every fiber and molecule within you is radiating God Light. Not just to know it in your head, but down into the belly of your belly. To know it fully and to awaken to the process. You are loved and taken care of. I’ve told my clients that, when they have a reading with quality medium, it gives value and purpose to their tears.

Edie: You’ve got me in tears right now, thank you very much. I guess you can take that as a compliment.
