Edie: Can you describe the Twin Hearts Meditation?

Master Co: It is actually an ancient meditation technique that was reserved specifically for disciples. You have the heart chakra, and the crown chakra. Unconditional love happens only in these chakras when they are sufficiently open. If you learn how to scan energy…a lot of these great saints, like Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama— when you scan them— you notice that two chakras are specifically more activated than the rest: the heart and the crown. When these two chakras get very, very activated, a tremendous amount of energy pours out of the crown, through the body and out of the head. This energy can be utilized for self healing or healing other people. If you want to experience stillness, you have to meditate on stillness. In you want to experience light, you have to focus on light. During the meditation, you connect the heart and the crown and the energy pours out of the body. The next step, as they meditate on light, most people experience a slow gentle down flowing of warmth in their bodies. It’s a very simple technique that can be used in a matter of 10 or 15 minutes. (This technique is explained in “Your Hands Can Heal You,” pages 108-114.)

Edie: You also incorporate Tibetan Yogic exercises. How does that work with the energy?

Master Co: It’s interesting that you ask that question. That’s one of the biggest things we want to get across to people. No matter how much energy is tuned onto your body, if your physical body can’t handle it, it can not enjoy good health. What Tibetan Yogic exercises do is capture and store the spiritual energy that comes in when you meditate. You will have more energy and quietness of mind and it also enhances your intuition. We see sometimes that people can not sleep. There is so much energy, and they are so vibrant until 3:00-4:00 in the morning. If you do this 5 to 10 minutes a day, it will catch you up the whole day. It has spiritual benefits, and also physical and health benefits.

Edie: Do you find that people who do these practices regularly are able to function more smoothly in all aspects of their lives?

Master Co: One thing that we notice is that people who do this on a regular basis have a tendency to slow the aging process.

Edie: More please, about how you became involved with this work?

Master Co: As I mentioned, it was not by choice. I was an engineer and Southern Baptist and when my wife fell, and I worked with her and she started running in one month and one week, and other people started saying, “Why don’t you work on my headache or my stomach?” I did it for a lot of people, and when we came to the United States from the Philippines, we started sharing it with the people in our church.

Edie: Is Pranic Healing more accepted in the Philippines than in the United States?

Master Co: In the Orient, people are aware of energy and chi. It is easier to understand, but the problem with energy work is that often it is mixed in with superstition. My teacher experimented with what part of the body responds best to what type of energy. What type of healing techniques should be used for cancer and AIDS and so on… People like me who don’t have any background, can walk into the class, learn the techniques, look at the cookbook approach and initiate the healing. That’s basically the key.

Edie: How can people reach you?

Master Co: Through the website: .
