I think of ‘emotion’ as e-motion, or energy in motion. As human beings, we are composed of energy; sometimes potential, and more often than not, active. And it’s emotion that drives energy.

Upon awakening in the morning, how would you rate your degree of dynamism on a scale of 1-10?  Are you a 1? Do you feel like an amoeba, with little desire to roll over, let alone leap out of bed with any degree of enthusiasm? Or are you a 10, like the character Tigger in Winnie the Pooh?

What do you believe fuels either state? For many, mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety prevent feeling motivated. For others, a deep desire to embrace the day and all of the possibilities it holds grows springs on the feet.
Sometimes, daily life can leave us feeling as if all that energy has drained away. So how can we rejuvenate?

The Energy Zone will offer you tips and pointers for re-filling what your days zap out of you. Upcoming articles will include the subjects of stimulation, exercise, health and travel.
